Last weekend I attended a workshop on natural light photography held by the fantastic Audrey Woulard. I have been following Audrey’s work for quite awhile so to actually meet her in person (and to have the opportunity to learn from her!) was an incredible experience. I think I was a little star-stuck, and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one in the class to feel this way. I will say this, since I know other photographers will ask if I don’t, Audrey is wonderful. She is approachable, down-to-earth, and of course, an amazing photographer. And yes, her workflow is really as simple as she claims it to be. In an often over-complicated (photography) world, it was so refreshing to see her simplistic approach, and one that clearly works so well for her! Here is just a sample of some general workshop awesomeness that the day brought. The kids were all total troopers, and even though it was above 90 degrees all day, I never heard one of them complain. They just kept smiling and jumping and doing whatever the 15 cameras pointed at them asked of them. It was a great day and one in which I walked away from totally energized and inspired. |
Julia, I’m so glad you got so much out of the workshop! Looks amazing, and I can’t wait to hear more about it when we get together (hopefully soon!). The pics are all great but I love the one of you at the end 🙂
Finally! A picture of the photographer 🙂
love the kids in motion. Alice
